Activation Steps

These steps are designed for the fastest “purchase → activate → run offline” workflow.

1) Purchase & Email Delivery
  1. Complete checkout on the website.
  2. You will receive an email containing your Activation Key: txn_....
  3. If you can’t find it within a few minutes, check spam/promotions folders.

Keep the txn_... key in a safe place. It’s required for re-activation after reinstall (same machine).

2) Activate in the App
  1. Open SignalForge.
  2. In the sidebar, expand Enter License Key.
  3. Paste your txn_... key.
  4. Enter your purchase email.
  5. Click Activate Now.

After activation succeeds, SignalForge creates a local license.key file and runs offline.

Troubleshooting

Most issues are caused by email delivery delays, a mistyped key, or using a different email than the purchase email.

I received the invoice, but not the Activation Key email

Check spam / promotions folders first. Delivery is usually within a few minutes. If you still can’t find it, contact us. and include:

  • Your purchase email
  • Approximate purchase time
  • Any invoice/receipt reference (if available)
Activation returns 403 / invalid_license_key

Ensure you pasted the full txn_... key exactly as delivered. Also confirm the email entered matches your purchase email.

Activation succeeds, but the app still shows Trial / Expired

Make sure license.key is present in the expected location (created by activation). If you moved or deleted the file, re-activate (same machine) using the same txn_... key.

Activation fails after hardware change / new machine

The license is node-locked (one machine per key). If you need migration due to hardware replacement, contact us.

Reinstall & Backups

Activation creates a local license.key. If you reimage your OS often, backing up this file can save time.

Recommended
  • Keep a backup copy of license.key in a secure place.
  • Keep the original txn_... key email.
  • If license.key is lost, you can re-activate on the same machine using txn_....
Not Recommended
  • Sharing keys publicly or reusing on multiple machines.
  • Editing license.key manually.
  • Relying on screenshots instead of copying the full key string.
